Welcome to Hudson Physiotherapy

What I Treat

Muscle and Joint Pain

Whether it be neck pain, foot pain or anything in between. We can work together to diagnose, treat and manage musculoskeletal conditions

Pre/Post Operative Rehab

Surgery can be a great treatment, but without the correct pre-surgical and post-surgical care you might not be getting the best outcomes. Together we can navigate the road to recovery for optimum outcomes

Chronic Pain Management

Pain management strategies can help alleviate chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia and chronic back pain. We will work together to get you back to what matters most.

Senior Care

Specialised physiotherapy serves for seniors to help improve mobility, balance and overall health. We will work to develop a personalised exericse programme to improve strength, flexibility, reduce pain and prevent falls

Rehabilitation Programmes

Working together we can create tailored strength and conditioning programmes that fit into your lifestyle and work towards your goals

Sports Injuries

I specialise in sports injury management, with experience treating athletes competing in Triathlon World Championships, Ironman events, Rugby, Football and Strongwoman competitions.

My Approach

I founded Hudson Physiotherapy as a virtual clinic to remove the friction from healthcare. I believe you shouldn't have to wait weeks on a list or travel for hours just to get expert advice. My goal is to empower you with the right knowledge, movement strategies, and pain management techniques so you can confidently take control of your own recovery from the comfort of your home.

About me

My name is Sam. I am an HCPC-registered physiotherapist based in York, delivering online physiotherapy consultations across the united kingdom. I am a senior physiotherapist in the NHS, Head Physiotherapist for York RUFC and a Clinical-Academic Fellow for the National Institute of Health and Care Research. I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and a member of the Physiotherapy Pain Association.

These roles are extremely varied and have provided me with a breadth of knowledge and understanding that enables me to better care for my patients. Whilst I work with a wide variety of conditions, I have a particular interest in managing chronic lower back pain, returning to sports post injury/surgery and strength and conditioning for longevity and overall quality of life improvement.
